Have you tried clearing the cache etc Lizzie?

I use CCleaner which helps keep my laptop running smoothly. You can find it here. http://www.ccleaner.com/

I found it difficult to use the internet last week Lizzie, it was worse than the old days of dial-up.

I asked about it somewhere else and was told there'd been a fire at one of the major serves in the states, which had a knock-on effect.

The problem arose with those using Pro.boards, as the server that was knocked out by the fire affected them substantially.

At the same time a hacker bought down several games sites (ibpdownloads and all their hosting)and left them high and dry for several days. So problems galore for lots of people.

The host of this forum is powered by phpBB. My own forum is hosted
by SMF (simple machines), so they were not affected by the fire that bought
down the server which supplied power to boards hosted by Pro.boards.

I hope that is a good enough answer, since I am not great at explaining
things on the net! Smile

The acronyms used make it hard to understand what anybody is talking about. I admire you for trying Icecold.
